ABOUT PHILIPPE MEUNIER
Philippe Meunier is French Ambassador to Croatia.
Philippe Meunier attended the French National School of Public Administration. He has spent his entire career within the French diplomatic service.
He performed duties in the fields of European cooperation, Security, Global issues, Economic Diplomacy.
At the French Mission to the European Union in Brussels between 1993 and 1997, he was Counsellor for EU Common Foreign and Security Policy and was also in charge of relations with South East Europe and Switzerland.
He was then Deputy Chief of Mission in Kenya from 1997 to 2000.
In 2000-2002 he was Chief of Staff of the Minister for Cooperation and Francophonie.
Since 2005, Philippe Meunier served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Canada, and then in Paris as Deputy Director General for Global Affairs, Director for Development and Global Public Goods, and lastly Health Ambassador in particular responsible for the fight against HIV/AIDS and communicable diseases.
